  • "We will continue to enhance b.stage with fan communication features to enable seamless communication without the hassle of navigating between multiple platforms," says Brice Lee, co-CEO of bemyfriends.

Seoul, Korea - Tuesday 25 July, 2023 - bemyfriends, a global fandom business builder, announced today the addition of a live chatting feature called b.stage POP to its all-in-one fandom solution, b.stage. The aim of the new feature is to make it easier and more convenient for fans and community, and live streaming, to enable owners to easily build their own platform by selecting the features that suit their needs.

Artists can get started with real-time communication quickly and easily by clicking on the POP icon at the top right of their b.stage home, while switching between text and live streaming modes as they please. When a POP is active, fans are alerted with push notifications that enable them to join the POP. Once a POP ends, fans all over the world can get access to a 48-hour replay of the session.

bemyfriends' IP Business Division have developed and produced emoticons that allow fans and artists to express their emotions on a more intimate level. Furthermore, through the b.stage POP Admin Page, artists and agency officials will be able to monitor conversations in real time in order to foster a healthy fandom culture and a safe communication experience. Fans will be able to purchase access to POP for an additional cost.

Going forward, bemyfriends will continue to enhance b.stage POP at a rapid pace to strengthen global fandom communication and engagement. Firstly, b.stage will expand the option to close chats, which is currently only available in Live POP, to Chat POP in order to improve the user experience for global fans. The next step will be to launch an automatic translation service in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish in Q3 to improve accessibility for global users. In the future, b.stage POP will develop beyond a simple live chat by diversifying features to enable fans and artists to have fun together. Lastly, the company also plans to add white-label features that give owners the capability to customize the name of their b.stage POP service and truly build their own space.

"There are many fandom services out there, but artists and fans have experienced difficulties from having to use different platforms at the same time," states Brice Lee, co-CEO of bemyfriends. "With the launch of b.stage POP, bemyfriends have upgraded b.stage with a real-time chatting feature to alleviate this inconvenience for fans. We anticipate that the feature launch will allow artists and fans to easily interact with one another in one place. We will continue to improve our fan communication services in the future to let artists and fans engage with ease, convenience, and authenticity in a safe space on b.stage."

Beyond K-POP, bemyfriends offers the ultimate fandom business services, technology and consulting to a wide range of clients in eSports, entertainment, content and media.
