SEOUL, Korea - July 27 (Mon), 2026 — Global fandom business company bemyfriends has secured a strategic investment from AMUSE, a leading Japanese entertainment company.

Building on this investment, the two companies plan to combine their respective business capabilities and networks to fully launch fandom businesses in the Japanese market, while expanding their global fandom business across all fronts.

Founded in 1978, AMUSE is a comprehensive Japanese entertainment company whose roster of artists includes Southern All Stars, Masaharu Fukuyama, Perfume, BABYMETAL, and Gen Hoshino, and whose businesses span artist management as well as film and TV program production and live tour operations. Recognizing the growth potential of the fandom business and the strong synergy between them, the two companies moved forward with this strategic investment and collaboration.

bemyfriends and AMUSE also plan to cooperate on discovering new IP (intellectual property) in the global market. In particular, when bemyfriends' clients expand into the Japanese market, bemyfriends will connect them with AMUSE as a priority partner to maximize synergy.

bemyfriends has been expanding its business centered on its local subsidiary in Japan, operating more than 50 platforms in the country alone. It has also built a robust fandom business ecosystem together with more than 150 artists and IPs. With this investment, bemyfriends plans to move beyond simply operating platforms to strengthen its role in supporting the multifaceted business expansion of artists and IPs, further solidifying business partnerships across Japan and around the world spanning fan communities, content, live tours, and promotions.

Regarding this investment, Kiyoyama Kozue, Director of AMUSE and CEO of AMUSE ENTERTAINMENT INC. (AMUSE's Korean subsidiary), said, "We are paying close attention to the growth potential of the fandom business, which creates new value based on relationships with fans," adding, "We expect that bemyfriends' unrivaled global fandom business capabilities and experience, combined with AMUSE's rich entertainment assets and global network, will create new synergy."

Wooseok Seo, CEO of bemyfriends, said, "This investment is highly significant in that it recognizes bemyfriends' business competitiveness and growth potential in the Japanese market," and added, "Based on close collaboration with AMUSE, we will continue to expand our local partnerships so that artists and IPs can broaden their points of contact with fans and create new business opportunities."

Meanwhile, bemyfriends works with more than 1,200 artists and brand IPs worldwide, providing services that connect every aspect of the fandom business, including fan communities, memberships, commerce, and real-time communication. Through its acquisition of Dreamus Company, it is also accelerating synergy initiatives aimed at building a full value chain for music IP. Leading the global fandom business across diverse fields such as entertainment, sports, and esports, bemyfriends plans to continue expanding the points of contact where more artists and IPs meet fans around the world, based on local partnerships in key global markets.
