Reward your fans with QR check-ins in offline spaces

ENKR
Offer your fans rewards through links and QR check-ins
Have an online or offline space to which you'd like to attract your fans? If you're planning an event in this venue, consider creating a tangible reward—a badge of honor, if you will—to encourage your fans to visit and keep them engaged. Here, we introduce b.stage’s Rewards Program: your key to driving fan traffic to your designated venue, while ensuring their experience is immersive and rewarding.

The Rewards Program allows you to distribute "rewards" to fans for completing missions or joining events. Here's how it works: By entering your page through a specific URL or QR code you’ve set as a mission, fans can automatically receive these rewards. In doing so, you're not only showing appreciation for your most active fans—you also introduce an element of fun and collectability to their interactions with you.

Introducing the Rewards Program
  • A feature that rewards fans for participating in missions set by the owner.
  • You can also direct people to your official website by entering your b.stage URL in “Mission Settings,” or creating a QR code for check-ins at offline events.
  • There are two types of rewards: digital rewards, which include images, emblems, and other items of limited availability, and point rewards, which can be redeemed like cash in the Shop.
  • Rewards can be a way to bridge offline events to the online world.
  • Rewards can also become a medium for sharing memories between you and your fans, which organically nurtures a fandom.

Quick tutorial: How to start a Rewards Program on b.stage

From the owner's perspective
Let's say you're a beauty creator making videos online. Now, you want to expand into offline spaces. For a beta test, you launch a pop-up store with your character IP. You invite your fans to the store, offering rewards to connect their in-store experience with your online presence.

STEP1. Manage the rewards program
Owner - Administrator/Operator From the admin page menu, go to [CUSTOMERS] - [Rewards Program Management] - [Add +] - [Auto Rewards Program].

Owner - Administrator/Operator Fill out the essentials for your rewards program, including a title, cover image, schedule, and notifications.
  • Note that the time period for the Auto Rewards Program is restricted to 3 months.
  • Targeting your entire audience without limiting participants can encourage people to sign up for your b.stage. As an alternative, you may want to restrict participation to your members only.
:전구:Hold on! [Limit Participants] can actually help you grow your membership.
Running a Rewards Program for your members can encourage more fans to sign up to get rewards. Consider leveraging a rewards giveaway as a tactic to recruit more members.

STEP2. Set up a mission
Owner - Administrator/Operator In Mission Settings, input the URL to track pop-up visits. Enter a b.stage URL, then click [Register Program] to generate a unique link and QR code for your mission. In the future, Mission Settings will evolve to offer more than just URL entry.
:전구:Hold on! Where can I download the QR code?
The QR code will be generated once you navigate through [Register Program]. After completing the required fields in the ‘Program Registration - Mission Settings - Rewards Settings’, click on [Register Program] to receive both the Mission Link and the QR Code in the pop-up window. The QR code can also be downloaded directly from [Mission Settings].
STEP3. Set up rewards
Let's say you want to reward your fans with a digital reward.
Owner - Administrator/Operator In [Rewards Settings], select [Add] and enter a name for your digital reward group. You can add up to five groups, using them to categorize your digital items.

Owner - Administrator/Operator Click [+ Add item] to upload the digital item you wish to offer as a reward. Up to 50 items can be added to a digital reward group.

:전구:Hold on! If you have 50 items to add to a digital reward for one mission, how many digital reward groups should you add in the [Reward Settings] option?
You can add one digital reward group to accommodate up to 50 items at once. Alternatively, you might add between one and five digital reward groups to categorize items by type. In a single mission, incorporating a digital reward group is practical for organizing items by group member, item type, and so forth.
STEP4. Finish registering the reward program

After completing the registration for the rewards program, click [Save] to generate a QR code. Return to Mission Settings and download the generated QR code. Display it in your offline space and add it to printed promotional materials for fans to see!

STEP5. Launch your pop-up store & start engaging with your fans
Owner - Administrator/Operator In this example, we created a single rewards program, but you have the option to create multiple rewards programs, placing a distinct QR code in each pop-up store space or booth.

Fan | When visiting the pop-up store, simply open your phone's camera to scan the QR code and enter the sample "Jessica World Pop-up Store Opening Event." If you're already a member of Jessica's b.stage, your digital rewards will be received immediately. If not, sign up, re-enter the event, and your rewards will automatically be dispensed.

You can also view the rewards you've earned by navigating to the b.stage [MY] - [My Rewards] - [Jessica World Pop-Up Store Opening Event].

STEP6. Offer rewards manually to people who missed out
Fans visiting your pop-up store might miss out on their rewards due to unavoidable circumstances, like their phone battery dying, preventing them from checking in with the QR codes.
Owner - Administrator/Operator Record the member ID and email address in an Excel sheet so that you can manually issue rewards in batches after the event ends. When registering for the "Auto Rewards Program" in STEP1, please also preemptively register for the “Selective Rewards Program” using the same information.

STEP7. Check the reward processing status
Owner - Administrator/Operator After launching your event, review the "Reward Processing Status" to see who has been rewarded. If you’re actively promoting your event, the rewards program can also serve to tentatively tally fans who visited your pop-up store (offline space).

Fan | Show off the rewards you've earned in your fan community!

What has improved?
  1. You now have the option to reward fans automatically or manually for completing missions.
  2. You can increase fan engagement by encouraging fans to collect rewards during events, adding a game-like element of fun.
  3. It's a great way to recognize and reward active, loyal fans.
  4. You can convert non-members to members and encourage current members to participate in missions.

Keep in mind
  • This feature is available from b.stage v.9.4.
  • The time period for the Auto Reward Program is restricted to 3 months.
  • When you create a URL link, be sure to enter a b.stage URL or you won't be able to register for the rewards program.
  • Fans can only participate in a mission once per account.
  • Make sure that the QR code does not get shared outside of the venue, on social media, or within online fan communities.
  • If some of your fans missed out on the automatic reward distribution, you can manually distribute rewards after the event concludes. Keep in mind that rewards cannot be distributed to members in multiple installments. Therefore, maintain a list of members missing rewards in Excel and distribute rewards in bulk.
