SEOUL, Korea - September 17, 2026 — b.stage, a global fandom business solution, has launched "Grounding Pro-Am," a service on its golf-dedicated platform "Grounding" that brings professional golfers and fans together on the course. By extending fan communication from online into in-person meetings on the field, the company has created a new point of contact for the golf fandom business, covering both individual fans and corporate and group clients.
"Grounding Pro-Am" is a program in which fans form a team with the professional golfer of their choice and play a round together. Going a step beyond an ordinary accompanied round, it incorporates fan meeting elements such as dining with the player and taking commemorative photos, so that fans can spend time more closely with the pro.
Those who book during the launch period receive the "VVIP Fan Meeting Package." It consists of benefits that let fans meet players both on and off the course, including a meal with the pro before or after the round, custom goods bearing the player's autograph, a Polaroid photo session, and a digital badge issued within the Grounding app.
The Grounding Pro-Am service features 19 well-known professional golfers: Lim Min-guk, Moon Sung-mo, Ahn Ye-in and Kim Do-ha, along with Kim Hyun-myung, Son Sae-eun, Kim Hyun-beom, Ahn Geun-young, Kang Dong-woo, Kwak Ye-bin, Kim Min-ji, Kim Bo-mi, Kim Ji-min, Doo Seung-hyun, Moon Tae-hwan, Lee Sae-ha, Lee Eun-ji, Lee Hyun and Hwang A-reum. It opens a channel through which fans can now meet in person — and play golf alongside — pros they had previously encountered only through social media.
The process has also been simplified. Once an application is submitted, the booking is confirmed through one-on-one consultation and payment via KakaoTalk, after which the schedule and venue are arranged in a group chat that includes the pro. Various payment methods such as credit cards and simple payment services are supported, allowing everything from player matching to consultation, booking and payment to be completed in one flow.
Grounding also addresses demand from corporate and group clients. For occasions that require booking a professional golfer — such as client invitational golf events, VIP rounds and employee reward programs — the person in charge can directly select and apply for the pro they want, without relying on personal connections. Grounding handles player matching and scheduling, while booking fees and cancellation and refund terms are disclosed in advance at the application stage, simplifying the procedures required for corporate-level execution. Larger events, such as booking two or more pros or group rounds with multiple teams, are arranged through separate consultation.
The service puts into full operation the offline program announced when Grounding was released this past May. Grounding has operated memberships, exclusive content and live streaming based on communities for individual players. Through the Pro-Am service, it plans to extend exchanges on the platform onto the course, creating a golf fandom experience that spans both online and offline.
