- All-Japanese Global Girl Group 'cosmosy' Accelerates Global Activities After Korean Debut
- Providing Immersive Global Fan Experience Connected to cosmosy's Universe Through b.stage's Fan Communication Focus
SEOUL, Korea - July 21, 2025 (Monday) - Global fandom platform 'b.stage' has launched the official fan community (https://cosmosy.com/) for global girl group 'cosmosy' to strengthen fan communication. This community is significant as it marks the first fan community established by cosmosy, an all-Japanese member group, to communicate with global fans.
cosmosy is a global project group created by Studio & Live under NTT Docomo, Japan's largest mobile carrier, consisting of four members: a'mei, de_hana, kamión, and himesha. True to their team name meaning "COSMOS of Youth," they are active based on a unique universe that encompasses narratives of growth and conflict. Following their debut single "Lucky=One" released in April, they released their second single "BabyDon'tCry=BreakingTheLove" worldwide on July 18, entering full-scale comeback activities.
Notably, despite being composed entirely of Japanese members, cosmosy debuted in Korea first and appeared on domestic music shows through KBS2's 'Music Bank,' attracting attention for their exceptional activity path as a 'Japanese group within K-POP.' Recently, they expanded their offline fan touchpoints by operating the popup store 'Follow cosmosy in Seongsu' in Seoul's Seongsu-dong, and successfully completed global promotions in major North American cities including New York and LA ahead of their comeback. These activities are being evaluated as a new type of Japanese idol.
This partnership is expected to serve as a foundation for cosmosy and b.stage to grow together centered on fan experience, with synergy between both parties drawing increased attention.
The cosmosy global platform operated through b.stage will provide not only official content but also various fan experiences including future membership, merchandise, and fan-participatory content. In particular, they plan interactive operations that create cosmosy's 'universe + youth' worldview together with fans through b.stage's fan voting, rewards, and exclusive content provision.
A b.stage representative emphasized, "cosmosy is a new type of global artist that creates fandom through content beyond nationality or language, and b.stage is strategically supporting them across the platform to connect more deeply with fans worldwide. Particularly as we are accelerating collaborations with local artists and IPs centered on our Japanese office, the partnership with cosmosy will be an important opportunity for expanding fandom platform business within the Japanese market."
Meanwhile, b.stage currently operates fandom platforms with over 850 global artists and brand IPs, providing integrated support for functions necessary for fandom operations including content distribution, real-time communication, and membership services. Going forward, they plan to continue platform advancement to enable closer connections between fans and artists and strategically support fandom expansion for IPs worldwide.
