  • b.stage integrates 'photo frames' into fandom experiences to enrich fan lifestyle engagement
  • From Star Stories to POP messages...b.stage fan content expands to photo frames

SEOUL, Korea - Monday, April 21, 2025 - Global fandom platform 'b.stage' has entered into a strategic partnership with 'Life 4 Cuts,' a leading brand in Korea's self-photo studio industry, to introduce integrated online-offline content that expands the fandom experience. Through this collaboration, the companies will sequentially unveil collaborative photo frames that connect artists and fans in everyday life.

Photo frame culture, which has recently established itself as a trend, is emerging as a new wave in global fandom culture beyond Generation Z. Frames featuring artists' photos, signatures, drawings, and characters hold meaning beyond simple photographs. Life 4 Cuts has received enthusiastic responses by providing immersive experiences through various collaborations with artists, popular characters, and brands that make users feel as if they're taking photos with their favorite IPs. On the 10th of this month, Life 4 Cuts launched its new fandom-specific app 'Life 4 Cuts for FAN,' accelerating the expansion of photo frame fandom culture.

This collaboration is an extension of that initiative. Fans can receive QR codes for photo frames through b.stage and use them at nearby Life 4 Cuts photo booths. The photo frames will utilize b.stage's services, including ▲Star Story images ▲POP messages ▲Membership exclusive content ▲Artist drawings and handwritten artwork. Frame types include 'With Frame,' 'With Photo Card Frame,' and 'With Handwritten Letter Frame,' providing an experience as if taking photos in the same space with the artist. This allows fans to experience sensory immersion with artists beyond digital interactions and into physical spaces.

A Life 4 Cuts representative stated, "As a leader in the self-photo studio industry, we have expanded brand experiences through collaborations with various IPs, and this partnership with b.stage presents an opportunity to showcase Life 4 Cuts' differentiated content to global fans." They added, "We will continue to strengthen fan experiences that connect digital content beyond spatial limitations and focus on developing IP-based experiential content and expanding fan-participatory photo experiences."

A b.stage representative commented, "This collaboration expands online-centric fandom experiences to offline spaces. By actively incorporating various content such as Star Stories and POP message images from the b.stage platform into photo frame designs, we expect this combination of both companies' strengths to create synergy in generating new fan experiences." They continued, "This will provide fans with more immersive experiences while offering artists and IPs new revenue models and brand expansion opportunities."
Beginning with this collaboration, b.stage plans to expand various content partnerships connected to fandom lifestyle beyond photo frames. Their goal is to solidify their position as a 'fandom lifestyle brand' that adds emotion and experience to fans' daily lives, beyond being simply a fandom platform.

Meanwhile, b.stage serves as a fandom business solution enabling IPs from various fields including K-POP, content, and esports to connect closely with fans. With over 220 global IPs including G-DRAGON, Son Heung-min, and Hanwha Life Esports, it has distinguished itself as the industry's largest fandom platform. Currently, b.stage continues to expand its service areas with offerings such as 'b.stage+' to enable richer fandom activities for fans of each IP.
