SEOUL, Korea - November 21, 2024 - b.stage and Tappytoon have entered into a strategic partnership to expand the global fandom business for K-Webtoons. Through this collaboration, b.stage will provide comprehensive support, including developing Tappytoon’s global e-commerce platform, strengthening logistics infrastructure, and enhancing fan engagement. Recognized as a leading fandom platform in South Korea, the US, and Japan, b.stage serves nearly 200 clients worldwide.
b.stage, a total fandom business solution, has partnered with Tappytoon, a global webtoon platform, to accelerate the global reach of K-Webtoons and strengthen fandom engagement. Leveraging its expertise and experience in fandom business across K-POP, esports, and the creator space, b.stage is expanding its scope to include webtoons.
Tappytoon, operated by Content First, is a platform showcasing popular Korean webtoons and web novels to global readers in various languages, leading the global expansion and market growth of K-Webtoons. Currently, Tappytoon has over 10 million registered users across 241 countries, with more than 700 million cumulative views.
b.stage will work closely with Tappytoon to develop Club JEM (clubjem.tappytoon.com), Tappytoon’s global merchandise shop. The collaboration will include co-planning and producing global merchandise based on popular webtoon IPs, as well as providing logistics and fan engagement support. Tappytoon’s Club JEM, built by b.stage, will kick off its global fandom commerce by offering merchandise for webtoon IPs with strong core fandoms. Tappytoon’s official products, sold through b.stage’s global eCommerce service, will be available for purchase and delivery across 200 countries, including the United States, France, and Germany. b.stage will also support various fan communication features, including community boards and Star Stories, enabling webtoon IPs to interact with global fandoms in more diverse ways.
